We just finished a bathroom update for a client on a fixed income. Our client’s budget did not allow for the removal and replacement of the tub and shower surround. All 3 walls and soffits were wallpapered, so we needed to remove the wallpaper from the soffits and above the door. The 2 side walls we covered with 1/4″ drywall. In the entry, we removed and replaced drywall because we had to frame an opening in the wall for a recessed mirror medicine cabinet. We also removed the existing flooring and replaced it with LVT flooring. A new vanity, vanity top, faucet, light, toilet, and PVC trim were installed. We painted the walls and ceiling and came in under budget.
